News: Uncharted 2 wins at Spike awards
As predicted the Spike Video Game Awards show at the weekend featured the debut of a number of new which had never before been seen or announced, including a sequel to Star Wars: The Force Unleashed.
Although little known outside the US, the show featured a series of game reveals and celebrity appearances, threatening to push the awards themselves into the background.
The most unexpected reveal was a sequel to Batman: Arkham Asylum from Warner Bros, while other debuts included LucasArts’ Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II, Take-Two Interactive’s Spec Ops: The Line, MTV ‘ Green Day: Rock Band and a new title in Activision’s True Crime series.
